and so this is Christmas
And I must say, it is like none other, as it is now 10h58 on December 24th, it is 10 degrees as I await my ride to the airport to take me to a place where it is 17 (ABOVE zero!), and as I embark on my way to spend the holidays with good friends, new friends, and well, perfect strangers in some instances.
Jitter, jitter, jitter...am a little shakey this morning. Anticipation? Hypoglycemia? Anxiety over the amount of luggage? D) All of the above, methinks.
The next week is sure to be full of many things. It is funny that one of the last songs I hear on MTV is Nelly Furtado's Like a Bird, a Canadian from Portugal who released that song about 5 years ago, and I remember listening to it while decorating a Christmas tree however many seasons of yore that was (WHAM's Last Christmas also made an appearance, just going to show there is NEVER not a good time for WHAM!. But who was George really trying to fool with all those scantily clad ski-bunnies?)
At any rate, I shall sign off on what may be my last official post of the year, depending on the time restraints merry making places on Blogtime over the next week.
FELIZ NATAL!
