when they left Alcatraz, where did they go?

OK, perhaps I am being a bit too harsh on the Bay City, but I must say that by the time the day of departure rolled around I was aching to get back to my big little EuroWorld. I am certain that unless there was a particular reason, and a VERY good one at that, I will not return to SF.

Not much time to Blog at the moment, as a weeks worth of work emails, unpacking, gift seperation and preparation, and general jet-lag-avoidance need my attention. Will be back with a full San Franisco Chronicle in the near future.
