En route back to Den Haag after 2 exhausting but fun days in Paris. Sylvia and I walked for 10 hours yesterday and 5 today, basically shopped the city on foot. Save for a few new additions to the jewelry collection, mon amie was much more successful with the purchase and acquisition of goods. Guess I will wait until back in the 'Peg to stock up the fall wardrobe.
Tiredness breeds sentimentality, I have found, and after receiving some very funny and heartfelt emails today, I am missing my Cairo "people" most dearly...
